Name: Feasellityar
(Translation from Elvish: Spiritual Sister to the Cause)

Forging: Crafted from metals from the island of Avalon, melted in the fires of Hephaestus's forge, touched by Artemis and Robin Goodfellow, fired by the breath of Smaug.

Blade: Longsword length, crafted from Avalon metals. Polished to a mirror finish, with a double-edged blade, with two serrated grooves near crossguards on each side. Glows with soft white illumination.

Crossguards: Metal, connected to blade, as blade and crossguards are from the same piece of metal. Crosspieces shaped like wings, with top of wings facing towards blade.

Hilt: Formed from one piece of solid, transparent crystal, carved in diamond shapes going around the handle. Pommel formed of platinum in the shape of a unicorn's head with blue topaz inset for the eyes.

Bonus: +4 (If you bother using D&D style bonuses.)

Powers:

  1. Fire Resistance. Protects wielder from all fire- and heat-based damage, but not including smoke inhalation or concussive effects.
    Effect: Constant, even when sheathed.
  2. Spell Turning. Sword, when wielded, can reflect hostile magic back upon source.
Effect: Conscious act of will, only when wielded. Wielder must know of magic being directed at self to use power.
  3. Duplicate Blade. By act of concentration while holding hilt with two hands, blade can "split" into two equally sized swords.
Effect: Conscious act of will when wielded, same to "rejoin" swords.
Limit: Bonus from each sword equal to +2 weapon. All other powers, save fire resistance, inactive for duration of this power.
  4. Animal Transformation. Wielder can transform into any natural animal, ranging in size from squirrel to small bear.
Effect: Conscious act of will. Duration: Maximum of ten minutes.
Limits: Wielder cannot transform from one animal to another, but from natural form to animal and back. Shifts limited to 3xday, each shift counted as follows: change from natural form to animal and back to natural form counts as one shift.
  5. Spell Focus. Wielder, if capable of casting any form of spell, can focus the spell in a certain direction by pointing the sword in the direction the spell is desired to be cast.
Effect: Conscious act of will while wielding blade, while casting spell. Range: Maximum of 100 feet.
Limits: Normal limits for spellcaster in question.
