Name: Fox William Mulder

Age: 38

Date of Birth: October 13, 1961

Origin:

Fox William Mulder was born in Maryland to what he considered normal parents. His early life was nothing too exceptional, he was the typical student although he did show an affinity for unusual things such as magic shows. He also enjoyed being the usual teasing big brother to his sister, Samantha. One odd thing little quirk did come in this time: His apparent dislike for his first name as he made everyone, even his parents, call him Mulder. Samantha, however, was the sole exception. In 1973, the event that would create the driving focus of Mulder's life occurred. While he and his sister were at home playing a board game, a massive blast of light covered the entire house. The next thing Mulder knew, Samantha had disappeared and was never seen again. The event caused a chilling in the mood between Mulder's parents and affected him greatly. In fact, his father would sometimes go into periods of physical abuse of both his wife and his son, driving Mulder to get as far away from that home as possible.

Perhaps it was that feeling of helplessness over such a crime that pushed Mulder to alter his plans for his future. Quiet and withdrawn in high school, upon graduation, he attended Oxford University where he earned a degree in psychology and took several criminal courses. He had a brief affair with a classmate named Phoebe Green, who sadly knew that Mulder had demons within him that prevented their relationship from going much further. After graduation, Mulder returned to America and joined the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia and had a brief relationship with a fellow agent named Diana Fowley. By this point, his interest in the more unusual crimes had earned him the nickname one that Mulder sometimes reveled in. In 1988, he joined the Violent Crimes Unit and distinguished himself with the tracking of a notorious bank robber. During one case, Mulder met a rather unorthodox man who went by the nickname "Wanderer." Mulder didn't like the man much or his methods but did respect the way he sniffed out a serial killer.

Despite this, Mulder was a generally by the book agent until a case in Baltimore in 1989. Mulder was involved in a bizarre series of circumstances where he ran into a pair of computer hacker geeks and a government computer expert, an adventure in which the three claimed to be tracking a government conspiracy. While never quite sure what exactly had happened, Mulder's opinions on cut and dried cases were shifted thanks to the case ("Unusual Suspects")

In 1989, Mulder, long haunted by the nagging thought that there was more to Samantha's disappearance than there appeared to be, underwent hypnotic regression. Taken back to that night, Mulder saw Samantha apparently being carried away by a beam of light that was definitely not human. Immediately, Mulder came to the conclusion that Samantha had been abducted by aliens. His continued pursuit of this theory led to him gaining the reputation around the Bureau of an oddball who saw aliens everywhere. It was shortly after this that Mulder discovered the existence of the X-Files, a long-abandoned branch of the FBI that specialized in unusual and perhaps even paranormal cases. In 1991, Mulder talked his superiors into transferring him to the X-Files, gaining what could be generously called an office in the basement of the FBI and continuing his odd investigations from there.

In March of 1992, the woman who would become the single most important person in Mulder's life arrived...and Mulder didn't trust her. Concerned that his investigations had no scientific basis, Mulder's superiors assigned Dana Scully, an agent with medical and scientific background, to watch over Mulder. Mulder immediately believed that Scully had been sent to spy upon him despite her objections. He and Scully immediately were on a case where the tone of their relationship was set: Mulder believed it was an unnatural cause, alien abduction, while Scully tried to be more objective and search for a logical answer. ("The X-Files: Pilot")

For two years, the two worked together, trying to find the truth, Mulder still hoping to find out what happened to Samantha. Mulder had also gotten some aid from those three computer geeks from 1989, Byers, Langley and Frohike, the Lone Gunmen. Mulder's investigations broadened as he met a mysterious informant who dropped hints that the government had not only known about extraterrestrial life on Earth, but was actively covering it up. ("Deep Throat") Mulder highly suspected one of the leaders of the conspiracy was a mysterious smoking man who he nicknamed Cancer Man (although he was also known as the Cigarette Smoking Man or Black Lunged Bastard). In 1994, Assistant Director Walter Skinner, acting on orders from above, shut down the X-Files division. ("The Erlenmeyer Flask") Scully was reassigned to the FBI academy while Mulder was put back in Violent Crimes. Mulder resisted this change, still trying to investigate X-Files-like crimes. He was also less than happy of his new partner, Alex Krychek. ("Sleepless")

When Scully was abducted after an encounter with a man named Duane Barry, Mulder immediately went on the hunt for her. ("Duane Barry") He received some aid when Skinner decided to reopen the X-Files despite arguments from his superiors. At the same time, Krychek revealed his own true allegiances, trying to kill Mulder before escaping. ("Ascension") It was a few weeks later that Scully unexpectedly returned in a hospital, Mulder right by her side. ("One Breath") Scully could not remember what occurred but frankly Mulder was too happy to see her to care.

It was here that Mulder finally faced the truth: He was in love with his partner, feeling for Scully like he had never felt for anyone before. However, he knew this wasn't the safest life for either of them and was also worried that Scully did not return the favor and so continued on his job. It grew more and more bizarre as Mulder's belief in a massive government conspiracy covering up alien life on Earth seemed validated when he was met by what turned out to be one of many clones of Samantha, being pursued by an apparent shape-shifting bounty hunter. ("Colony" and "End Game") He was aided by another informant, a man who went only by the name "X."

In May of 1995, Mulder's behavior became more and more erratic, at one point openly attacking Skinner. It was shortly after this that Mulder discovered his father murdered, apparently by Krycek and hunted the man down. He was ready to shoot Krycek but Scully stopped him by shooting him in the shoulder. Waking up in New Mexico, Mulder found himself bandaged up, Scully explaining that his behavior the last few days was due to being exposed to a hallucinogen in his water. Mulder then went to a buried rail car to try and find more evidence of the government involvement in extraterrestrial life on Earth but was trapped inside the car, which was then set on fire. ("Anasazi") Mulder managed to survive, however, returning to Washington, where he found Scully thrown after her sister, Melissa, was shot and killed by an assailant waiting for Scully (presumably working with Krycek, "The Blessing Way")

Among the investigations Mulder undertook was one that delved deeper into Scully's abduction, which appeared to be by government forces, not aliens. ("Nisei," "731") Another case had Mulder investigating apparent killer cockroaches and running into a sexy woman named Dr. Bambi Brenebaum. ("War of the Cophanges")

In July of 1996, thoughts of conspiracies and the truth were pushed aside as Mulder found himself becoming the ultimate X-File. Going over some reports, he came across mentions of various beheadings that had been recorded worldwide throughout the centuries. Several of them had occurred in New York and Mulder believed an antiques dealer named Russell Nash might be involved. Dragging a reluctant Scully to Manhattan, Mulder tried to track down Nash, who gave them a quick brush-off. Mulder's suspicions were aroused, however and he and Scully decided to follow Nash around. They trailed him to Central Park, where they were startled to see him confronting another man, the two pulling out swords and dueling like it was the Middle Ages. Not sure what was going on but trying to assert themselves, the two drew their guns and announced their presence. While Nash backed away, his opponent pulled out a gun and fired several shots into Mulder and Scully, mortally wounding them both. As they went down, Scully gasped that she loved Mulder and with his last breath, Mulder told her the same. Just before he died, he saw Nash behead his opponent, with what appeared to be lightning sprouting out of the man's body.

Naturally, Mulder was more than a bit confused when he woke up, still in the park, his shirt stained with blood yet he had no wound. Nash was waiting for him as Scully came back to life as well. Nash took the two to the apartment above his shop and told them the truth: He was Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod, born in the Highlands of Scotland nearly five hundred years before. He was part of a race of Immortals, just as Mulder and Scully now were. ("New Beginnings")

Mulder and Scully were naturally both thrown to discover that they were basically going to live forever, only they had to take people's heads in order to do it. They took up Nash's offer to share a spare bedroom, both cleaning up as well. In the bedroom, the two came to grips with what they had said, Mulder assuring Scully that he meant it and overjoyed to know she felt the same way and it wasn't long before the two were making love. (Which, actually, was what Connor had been planning when he set them up in the room together.) The two cashed in on some long-overdue vacation time to spend a few weeks with Connor, training for the Game. They also built upon their own relationship, realizing just how deeply in love they were. They also noticed something else: For a while, the partnership between them was so strong that they could actually finish each other's sentences. Now, that bond grew as they could almost tell what the other was feeling and thinking.

It was in early September 1996 that the duo got into their first duel when their latest case brought them into contact with a pair of criminal Immortals. It came down to a double-duel in the confines of an abandoned building and had a unique finish: Mulder and Scully both made their beheading strokes at the same time and as their swords swung, they clashed into each other. The two agents were frozen for a moment, both thrown by their first killings and their swords were still touching when the Quickening occurred. As a result, Mulder and Scully each could feel the Quickening of the other, enhancing the experience. Exhausted after such an ordeal, it took a few hours for the duo to suddenly realize they could now literally hear what the other was thinking, the unique Quickening forming an actual psychic link between them.

During Christmas week, 1996, Mulder and Scully were in Las Vegas, wrapping up a wild case involving the Lone Gunmen that Scully has sworn to kill Mulder over if he ever mentions it to anyone. Walking past a chapel, Mulder, seized by the moment, proposed to Scully, asking her to marry him right then and there. To his joyful surprise, she agreed and the two were wed in a small Vegas chapel. Returning to Washington, they kept their relationship secret, knowing their careers with the X-Files would be in jeopardy if it leaked out.

Mulder and Scully kept on the casework over the next year. One case brought them to a small town in Massachusetts, where the hunt for a serial killer took a new turn when the latest victim, Alice Fairchild, became Immortal. The duo was affected during the case when another Immortal, Matthew Connors, informed them of something Connor had never told them: That since Immortals were foundlings, their parents weren't their parents. ("First Time Out.") Somehow, Mulder knew without asking that it was the truth and his already bad relationship with his mother worsened.

In February, 1998, Mulder received a videotape of what appeared to be a blue creature incinerating people with lightning before being blown apart by a rocket fired from off-screen. Mulder had been looking into reports for a while about the oddness of the town, Sunnydale, California and he and Scully went to investigate. At a mall, Mulder wasn't happy to run into the Wanderer again, whom he now realized was Immortal. He was amazed when Scully matter of factly told the man about her and Mulder being married. It turned out that the man with the Wanderer (also known as Steven St Wolf) was Frank Scully, Dana's black sheep cousin. The four traded information, Mulder and Scully thrown by Steve's matter of fact explanation that vampires and demons were real.

Steve was going to meet the very teenager Mulder and Scully had come to see themselves. She turned out to be Buffy Summers, the Slayer, destined to defend innocents from vampires and demons. Mulder and Scully met her and her friends who aided her in her battle. After being told about all Buffy had been through the last few years, it was their turn to drop a bomb on Buffy: That she was Immortal, an idea even the Slayer had trouble getting a handle on.

Mulder and Scully were in for a shock themselves when Steve told them that he had discovered a scroll that revealed that the Game was a fraud and there was really no point < to the Game >. They stayed in Sunnydale long enough to help with a major offensive against the vampire population that forced out master vampires Angelus, Spike and Drusilla. (Hellmouth---New Beginnings)

Mulder and Scully's involvement with Sunnydale was far from over. In March, they returned where Steve presented them with a present, a cat they named Tigger...who turned out to be a Guardian who could shapeshift into a sabretooth tiger and could communicate with both of them telepathically. (A Kitty's Tale) Tigger got the two into a bit of trouble a few weeks later when Scully's mother, Margaret, was cat-sitting for them. Mulder and Scully returned to find the dead body of an intruder who had been ransacking the house that Tigger had taken care of...by changing right in front of Margaret. Naturally, Margaret wanted to know just what was going on so Mulder and Scully told her the truth about themselves. Margaret took it all fairly well...except for the news that the two had been married for a year and hadn't even told her.

In May, the duo were invited back as Steve prepared a party for his dragon pal, Fangar. When they arrived, Steve invited Mulder to a sparring session with some of the girls on the team, Mulder promising to take it easy on them. After getting his clock cleaned by Cordelia Chase and Willow Rosenberg, Mulder demanded to know what was going on. Steve informed him that the duo, as well as Jenny Calendar and Amy Madison, were now Amazons and Artemis herself arrived to make the offer to Dana, who accepted. Mulder was a little thrown by the idea of his wife as an Amazon...although the lovemaking sessions did take a new twist. (How Buffy Got Her Sword)

In July, the duo was both involved in the battle against a pack of vampires trying to raise an evil God in Los Angeles. During the battle, the god Shiva let it be known that Immortals were intended to be the defenders of humanity which, combined with the knowledge of the Scroll being passed around by the Watchers, effectively ended the Game. Afterward, giving their report to Skinner, the duo was surprised to discover that the AD was their Watcher. Another surprise came when the two came to their office to find Cancer Man waiting for them. He revealed that he had known for a while that the two were Immortal and let them in on some surprising revelations. He was actually a member of the Illuminati, a secret organization meant to preserve life, working undercover for the Consortium. He finally answered several of the long-nagging questions of Mulder's past: He was Samantha's biological father and had taken her to safety when Mulder's father started to become abusive. The Consortium had had Scully kidnapped, not expecting Mulder to be so adamant to find her. They had given her back thinking that both would take the hint and back away but it just made them even more determined than ever to find the truth. Cancer Man let the two know that they had a common interest and left them with food for thought on the future. (Calling Out the Clan)

During the L.A. adventure, the truth that Frank was still alive got out and an investigation into his case was launched. Mulder and Scully learned this when they were interrupted while making some "private time" in their office by a pair of JAG lawyers. The officers, Navy Commander Harmon Rabb and Marine Major Sarah MacKenzie, heard Mulder and Scully's matter-of-fact talk about the weirdness of their jobs and knowing someone named Artemis and quickly decided the duo were both nuts and left as soon as they could. Mulder and Scully watched them go and wondered exactly how long it would take Rabb and MacKenzie to admit they loved each other.(Trial of Frank Scully)

Mulder and Scully helped Steve with an assault into Libya to stop a madman from unleashing a plague upon Earth. In the aftermath, from Paris to Sunnydale, Mulder reflected upon a hidden pain. Although he loved Scully with all his heart, he was feeling a little inadequate that her Amazon status made her a better fighter than he was. He also sensed that Scully was beginning to believe that she had to protect her husband. While in no means a chauvinist and loving Scully dearly, Mulder still felt a little out of sorts by the Amazon thing.

At least Mulder wasn't alone in that regard. Xander Harris, Oz Green, Rupert Giles and Jarod Russell, all mates of Amazons, were feeling the same thing and the five were talking about it at the high school library when a bizarre figure entered. He introduced himself as Robin Goodfellow of the Faery Kingdom and made an offer to the men: To give them an empowerment that would make them the equal of Amazons. While suspicious of Robin's motivations, Mulder agreed, as did the rest of the men. After teleporting them around the world (including Loch Ness) to gather the ingredients, Robin took the men to Stonehenge and worked his magic.

When Mulder awoke with the others, he felt little different...until Robin hurled a bevy of knives at them and Mulder and the others dodged and caught them easily. Upon Giles' suggestion, Robin took the men to the headquarters of the Watcher's Council, where they put their skills to use to trasha team of commandos then inform the Council to not butt into Sunnydale matters again. (Council at War) Returning to Sunnydale, the men surprised the Amazons with an impromptu sparring session, Mulder amazing Scully with his sword skills. Artemis arrived to confront Robin about this and was joined by Oberon, who turned the group of humans into frogs while listening to Robin's confession: The Oracles had warned him that the men were fated to die in an upcoming cataclysm and that would hurt the Amazons, leading to disaster. Oberon reluctantly agreed with this but got in the last word by making Robin live as a human to watch over his charges. Although a bit put out at the sparring (which she highly suspected was Mulder's idea) Scully definitely had little to complain about when Mulder showed her just how vigorous he could be later that night. (Libyan Assault/War of the Sections)

A few weeks later, Mulder and Scully were in Texas, involved in yet another Section-planned assault on evil. In the midst of the massive meeting of Immortals, Mulder and Scully were stunned to discover that Scully's sister, Melissa was alive and Immortal. Mulder was happy to see Melissa again but sensed Scully was taken aback at the discovery that Melissa was the lover of her Immortal teacher, Teresa Santiago. (Endworld Assault) After the battle was done, Melissa and Teresa stated their desire to become Amazons. As Artemis gave them her empowerment, she also pushed Scully to face her problems with Melissa being with a woman, Mulder doing the same. (Scooby Snacks: A Little Nepotism Goes a Long Way) He and Scully were in for another surprise a few months later when, during a case, they ran into Bambi and discovered she was an Immortal...and worse, apparently had the hots for both of them.

In December, Mulder and Scully were involved in their wildest mission yet, a trip to another reality to help save another Sunnydale. The duo discovered that in this reality, they had been killed along with Melissa in 1995 and trained by Amanda. They were also somewhat surprised that their doubles were still only partners. They managed to defeat the Master and returned to their own reality, leaving their doubles with food for thought. (Be Careful What You Wish For) A few weeks later, Robin dropped the two a note, letting them know he had won a bet with the Genie over how long it would take for Wish Mulder and Scully to follow their counterparts' example.

A few weeks later, Mulder and Scully were called to Atlanta on behalf of the Violent Crimes Task Force. The VCTF had discovered what appeared to be the site of a major fight, with one middle-aged woman dead and a teenager suffering from shock by her. Mulder and Scully were surprised when Agents Sam Waters and Bailey Malone related that the girl, Faith, had said she was slaying vampires. Questioning Faith themselves, Mulder and Scully discovered that Faith was a Slayer, called when Kendra had been severely injured. It turned out that Faith and her Watcher, Linda, had both been lied to by the Council, who told them that Buffy had died after Giles deserted her. Faith was rocked to learn the truth but had little time to cope with it when a pack of vampires attacked the VCTF, Mulder and Scully leading the counterassault to fight them off and telling the shocked agents about the existence of such evils. They also helped Faith meet her fellow Slayer and connect with the Sunnydale gang. (Faith's Story) In February, the Amazons and their mates were involved in a battle against a sorceress attempting to wipe the Amazons off the face of the Earth. Mulder was proud to find that Scully had been made an Amazon Crown Princess through the battle. (Daughters of the Moon)

In April, Mulder and Scully, having just been forced to kill two Immortals, came home to find what appeared to be Krycek warning them of a threat emerging in Sunnydale. The two traveled to the town, heading to Joyce Summers' home to find the gang. They found the door open and the corpse of an elderly Oriental man in the living room. They were searching the house when they heard someone else enter. Checking it out, Scully was quickly skewered by Shaw Hunter as Mulder came to find her with Amy, Joyce, Robin and a man Robin introduced as his good friend, Liam Danahure.

It turned out it hadn't been Krycek at all at Mulder and Scully's apartment but rather Shang Tsung, the shapeshifting aide to the Emperor Shao Kahn. Aided by the dark faery Mider and the evil witch Maeve, Kahn planned to use Mulder and Scully, along with the rest of the Scoobies, as part ofa sacrifice to merge his realm of Outworld with Earth. They managed to escape, heading to Ireland where they swiftly joined forces with Aideen, a faery friend of Robin and Liam, her Immortal lover, Torc and The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog (Rhoan, Diedre, Angus and Ivar) a group of Immortal warriors. Seeing the way Rhoan and Diedre still kept their thousand-year marriage going strong gave Mulder and Scully a little peek at what life could be for them.

The group got into a fight with Outworld ninjas at Castle Kells, Diedre upset when Mulder and Scully used guns to send the group back. Traveling to Tir Na Nog, the group learned that they had to get the Mystic Weapons away from Oberon in the Faery Kingdom. They then got into a fight with Kahn's elite ninja forces above Tir Na Nog, aided by Mortal Kombat champion Liu Kang, actor Johnny Cage, Special Forces commandos Sonya Blade and Jackson Briggs and the ninja Sub-Zero.

Making their way to the Faery Kingdom, Mulder and Scully watched as Robin, Liam, Shaw and Aideen won a special challenge against a batch of monsters prepared by Oberon. In the aftermath, they and Amy were captured by Maeve, who used a mesmerizing spell to make the trio literally walk their way into Outworld. Waking up in the specially constructed prison the others were already in, Mulder watched as Maeve blasted Xander for an insult he had made. Seeing the expressions from the others indicating this wasn't the first time this had happened caused Mulder to realize what the others didn't: That Xander was deliberately baiting Maeve, using the blasts to drain her energy. Mulder thus joined right in, insulting Maeve and taking the magical blasts she gave him.

It was good strategy as Robin, Aideen, Liam, the Knights, the Kombateers and the forces of the three Faery Kingdoms launched an attack on Outworld. Shaw freed the Scoobies, thus ruining the planned sacrifice and allowing them to counterattack. Maeve attempted to use her magics only to discover what Xander and Mulder had been up to. It was difficult to tell just who was more shocked: Maeve over realizing how she'd wasted so much magic blasting the two or the others at realizing that Mulder and Xander had hit upon the strategy and they didn't.

The two agents held their own against the Outworld ninjas while Joyce's smashing of the Eye broke the connection, taking Outworld and all within it back to their own realm. The two were more taken aback than the others by their ordeal, shaken by being under Maeve's control. Mulder and Scully were with the others when they came up with the idea of doing a surprise sparring session on the Knights and Kombateers. What they didn't know was that, forewarned by Joyce, Robin would give his empowerment to the two groups. The next day, Mulder and Scully started the session by attacking Rhoan and Diedre and quickly got their clocks cleaned. (Immortal Kombat)

The duo found their way back to Sunnydale only days later as they discovered that the IRS were auditing Cordelia's father for tax evasion (thanks to her mother and accountant stealing his money) and went to give her their support. (A Fighter's Worth) Mulder still works on the X-Files with Scully and feels the course of his life has been validated. He knows the truth is still out there...and just loves to find out more.

Race: Human, Immortal

Description: Six feet tall with dark brown hair cut in a short, professional style. He has a somewhat lanky build that has been given a slight muscular shift thanks to Robin's empowerment. He's often been teased about his lack of facial expressions but you can tell he's jovial if you look hard enough, piercing green eyes highlighting a handsome face, a mole on one cheek. His intensity seems to increase when he's on the case, particularly when he believes he's onto the right solution. He has a sardonic streak of humor, often quite dark but does take things seriously. He always seems to have something on his mind and a sense of something unnatural, which is what led to his nickname, "Spooky." Highly intelligent, he can actually get into the mind of a perpetrator, giving him an edge in combat. To Scully's annoyance, he still has an odd affinity for sunflower seeds and she still finds the occasional adult video hidden about their home. Has a high degree of paranoia and suspicion but once he does trust someone, it usually lasts. He often doesn't realize how cocky he can seem, particularly when he has the right idea on something. He can be passionate to protect the innocent and fight to all his ability for them. Often considered a maverick, Mulder isn't above bending the rules if he feels it's necessary. He has a definite sneaky side, which causes him to "flex" the rules when he can and an affinity for pranks (which is why Robin likes him). Most of all, he loves Scully with all his heart and while knowing she can more than take care of herself, would kill anyone who tried to take her from him.

As an FBI agent, he's used to suits that are usually topped off by one of a seemingly endless collection of rather unattractive ties and the occasional overcoat. A man of simple means, it took him a while to adjust to sleeping in an actual bed and insisted on bringing his fish with him when he moved in with Scully. Outside the office, he's in casual wear, jeans and a regular t-shirt with jacket, the same sort of outfit he'd use for a little B&E. One of the more pleasant surprises Scully had when getting with Mulder was to discover his affinity for briefs and even the occasional red Speedo.

Abilities (uncommon): Like all Immortals, can heal almost instantly from any wound, poison or disease and can come back from the dead (save beheading, of course). This has given him greater energy and a slight increase in brain power (helped by the faint memories of the Immortals he's beheaded). He can also feel the presence of another Immortal close by. One surprise of gaining Immortality was to discover that his long-time red-green color blindness had vanished (which gave him pause at his next murder scene). Has a telepathic link to both Scully and their cat Tigger, short-range but they can sense if the other is in trouble. Robin's empowerment has given him increased strength, speed, agility, reflexes and stamina, all the equal of an Amazon. He's also acquired knowledge of inherent fighting ability, giving him a wide range of skills to use in a fight.

Abilities (learned): Highly intelligent, Mulder has studied criminal psychology carefully, giving him insight to a person's mind, which has helped him in his investigations. He's trained well already with a sword (Connor is a good teacher) and Robin's empowerment made him even better. He's also well versed to various small arms weapons and combat tactics. He also seems to have an instinct for makeshift plans that work well (such as catching on quickly to Xander's plan to depower Maeve)

Current Status: Citizen of the United States.  Graduate of Oxford University with a degree in Psychology.  Federal Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, assigned to the X-Files Division (former member of the Violent Crimes Task Force). He's still trying to investigate random cases that enter the office but is willing to help out Steve where he can. Mulder is an Immortal.

Proficient weapons: Katana, given to him by Connor MacLeod. Also, standard issue FBI Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun and various small arms weapons. Also, a variety of hand weapons (staff, nunchucks, etc)

Current Beliefs: Not even Scully is sure what religion Mulder was raised under. He appeared to be rather apathy to most major faiths while an expert on various occult religions. He does have an odd bond with the others Robin has empowered and works well with them. He likes Xander a lot, the two much the same with senses of humor and unusual outlooks on life (not to mention bizarre past romances) The one belief Mulder appears to hold sacred is in the truth and that's pretty much all he needs.

What is the most important thing you can say about this character? The heart of "The X-Files" was always Mulder and his often single crusade for the Truth no one else wanted to know. His almost tragic trimmings and passion were what made the show so intriguing in its early years. Yet he also had humor and flaws which made him a far more human hero than most others on TV. Before he got bogged down in the complicated mythology of the show, Mulder was a character one could identify with and that carries over here. Of everyone in Section Seven, Mulder is probably the one who be able to adapt the fastest to bizarre situations. He already believes quite a bit in the paranormal, so opening his mind up more isn't a stretch. When Robin came to the men, Mulder was the first to accept being able to talk to a faery from Shakespeare. With his studies of paranormal phenomena, he's quick to form a theory on evidence other investigators would find too bizarre to accept. His ability to put himself in another's shoes and psychology can help him figure out the mentality of an opponent, an asset quite often in his line of work. To Mulder, Section Seven is validation of all he's ever believed in over his life. He enjoys the way he interacts with so many fantastic elements and uses it to expand his knowledge. Mulder can have a sardonic streak but when it comes to fighting for what's right, his passion is almost unequaled and when he gets an idea, he will do near anything to make it work. Yet he also has a nice sense of humor, can be a bit wacky at times and of course, has his bond with Scully that keeps him grounded. All in all, Mulder is as normal a guy you can find in the Wandererverse...normal being rather relative.
